1st Annual Prince Albert Rotary RIBFEST

 
The Prince Albert Rotary Club is proud to present its 1st Annual RIBFEST, to be held July 15, 16, and 17, 2016 at the Prince Albert Exhibition Grounds.  Event to include food by professional "Ribbers" and other local vendors, live music on the stage including feature acts All Mighty Voice on Friday the 15th and Donny Parenteau on Saturday the 16th, beer gardens, children's activities, magic show twice daily, and car show on the 16th.

Admission is by donation and the majority of proceeds from admission and beverage sales go towards Project Triple Play.
 
Event times are: Friday July 15th Noon - 11pm; Saturday July 16th Noon - 11pm; Sunday July 17th Noon - 5pm.

  • The 1st Annual Prince Albert Rotary RIBFEST will be held during 2016 on:
    • Friday July 15th from Noon – 11pm
    • Saturday July 16th  from Noon – 11pm
    • Sunday July 17th from Noon – 5pm
       
  • The event will be held at the Prince Albert Exhibition Grounds, with parking available on-site
     
  • Admission to the event is ‘by donation’
     
  • Majority of proceeds from admission and beverage sales will go to the Project Triple Play
     
  • Professional Ribbers will be in attendance to sell their own special ribs and sauces for cash purchase.  The Ribbers will be competing for the best ribs and sauce.  The competition will be judged by a panel of local celebrities.  Come try out all the different recipes!!!
                 
  • Other food vendors will be on-site to provide complementary nourishments which may include items such as fries, corn-on-the-cob, ice cream, cotton candy, etc.
     
  • Beverages will be available for sale and will include water and various kinds of soda throughout the site, and beer from Great Western Brewing and vodka and/or rum coolers at the beer gardens (note: entrance to beer gardens requires appropriate photo ID).
     
  • Live entertainment will be provided throughout the event, including:
    • ‘Open Mic’ sessions featuring local talent throughout the day
    • Country Music Youth Show Saturday 12PM to 2PM
    • Magic shows twice daily
    • Friday main stage will feature All Mighty Voice starting at 7:30pm
    • Saturday main stage will feature Donny Parenteau starting at 7:30pm
       
  • Children’s activities will be available throughout the day from Noon until 8:00pm which may include activities such as bouncy castles, face painting, balloon animals, etc.
     
  • Saturday July 16th will feature a car show including cars from the Klassic Kruizers Kar Klub
     
  • Please note the following important items:
    • Food prices will range from $2 to $25 per item
    • Beverage prices will range from $2 to $5 per item
    • Last chance for food will be 30 minutes prior to event end time and last chance for beer or coolers will be 20 minutes prior to event end time.
    • Please don’t drink and drive and plan a safe ride home
