The Rotary Club of Prince Albert had the honor of hosting District Governor Peter Neufeldt and his wife Janet to our weekly lunch meeting. Peter gave an excellent presentation to a full house of Rotary members, spouses and guests. This year's presidential theme is "Rotary: Making a Difference"
District Governor presents his theme for this year "Building Peace Through Rotary". He explained the pyramid process of how Rotary projects work to improve basic human needs, such as disease prevention, clean water and improving the health of mothers and children. Once these basic needs are met, communities are able to develop economically and improve basic education and literacy skills. With this foundation in place, peace can be achieved through conflict prevention and resolution.
