Morley presented the cheque on behalf of our Rotary Club to The Marketing to Kids(M2K) group that is on their way to the national convention in Montreal to present their "Photo Voice” project. As a result of their local initiatives, they were invited to present at the national convention.
This group is part of a national campaign "to raise awareness of the negative impact of marketing unhealthy food and and beverages to children, in order to give families a better chance of making healthy choices the easy choice”. 
They are supported locally by the Heart and Stroke Foundation, parents of Public Health Nursing, the Food for Thought Nutritionists, Kiwanis Club, Cosmopolitan Club and Rotary Club.
